Aquaculture

Southside Welding offers a comprehensive range of aquaculture services, including the fabrication of ramps, walkways, canbuoys, dewatering tables, vaccinating tables, davits, mechanical anchors, anchor bolts, tanks, spill trays, and boat repairs. We also handle dock repairs and the fabrication of reboarding devices to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Automotive & recreational vehicles

Our range of services extends to automotive and recreational vehicles, with fabrication and repairs for steel and aluminum ATV components, ramps, hunting equipment, hunting dog carriers, woodstove repairs, custom storage boxes, trailer hitches, camper tie downs, racks and attachments, headache racks, truck box rails, RV bumper replacements, flatdeck and trailer fabrication and repairs, custom bumper fabrication, custom smoker fabrication, and custom roof and canopy racks.

Construction

Southside Welding offers fabrication and installation of construction components such as structural members, knife plate brackets, steel timber frame bracketry, and moment frames. Additionally, we provide custom bike rack fabrication, bollard fabrication, and custom steel canopy fabrication and installation.

Excavating

Our team handles clean up and digging bucket repairs, stick and boom repairs, guarding fabrication and installation, as well as FOPS and ROPS fabrication and installation. We also offer nose cone and quick change fabrication and installation for excavating equipment, as well as thumb repairs.

Explosive Magazine Fabricator

Southside Welding is a federally certified & registered fabricator for explosive magazines. We fabricate Type 4 & Type 9 magazines in various sizes, as well as 3' wide and 5' wide magazine doors. We offer repairs and upgrades to magazines, as well as door servicing and repairs. We stock complete lock assemblies built to the current regulations, so we are able to repair your door and get you back working again with very minimal down time. Our complete lock assemblies will bring you into compliance with the 2026 upgrade regulations. We also fabricate magazine loading docks. We will travel anywhere in BC to repair your powder magazines, including remote locations.

Logging

We provide expert repairs and maintenance for all logging truck components, including headache racks, bunks, stakes, bolster plates, and scale pads. Additionally, we offer cab guard testing and certification, as well as repairs for processing heads, feller bunchers, grapples & heels.

Marine

Our marine services encompass commercial fishing boat repairs and custom fabrication, along with the fabrication, installation, and repair of docks, ramps, walkways, railings, custom marine exhaust systems, and more. We also cater to pleasure craft, providing downrigger brackets, boat tops, rod holders, dingy davits, and railing repairs and fabrication.

Mining

We specialize in the fabrication and installation of mining components such as chutes, walkways, hand railings, liner plates, conveyor repairs & modifications, and piping modifications and installations. Residential

We offer custom fabrication and repairs for residential applications, including fence brackets, mantle brackets, table legs, tools, chairs, wood splitter components, dock ladders, kayak racks, fire pits, and more. Our team also specializes in custom fabrication of interior and exterior railings, stairways, and gates.

Tractor/trailers

We specialize in custom fabrication and repair for tractor/trailer components, including lowbed ramps, 5th wheel plate replacement, cross member repair and replacement, and all tractor/trailer bracketry.
